Mehmood Hassan Block:- There was a massive milestone achieved in the month of April 2016, when there was an official opening of the Mehmood Hassan Block which comprises of 4 rooms which were built after demolishing 2 old rooms.

Mehmood Hassan Block is sponsored by Rizwan Butt and family in the memory of their Loving father who himself studied in the light of street lamps. Rizwan came himself from UK for the block opening ceremony.

The Block added contains 4 rooms which were built after demolishing 2 old rooms.

School annual program:- Like every year APS students came up with some ideas on performances which were entertaining and creative too. The annual Program was held on the same day when there was an official opening of the Block and our sponsor Rizwan Butt and family, Guests from local community were our special guests for this ceremony.

 

Funds:- APS Pakistan received $3425 from intel corporation as matching grant.

In picture below, Sonia O’Sullivan (Irish Former Athlete – European/World champion) and Intel Corporate Affairs Manger Leonard Hobbs awarding Intel annual Matching Grant to Amir Public School Rep Michael Moran.

The funds raised in April were 3175 when converted to euros bringing YTD Funds amount 8572 Euros
